This blog is an attempt to cover a variety of culturally and politically relevant topics in an even-handed and informative way, with the hope of nudging partisans out of their echo chambers. I’m not a journalist, pundit or commentator, though I do read a lot from all three. Some of my posts will be a synthesis of a variety of such arguments and perspectives. Others will be more original. I intend for all to reflect my preference for moderation, appreciation for different points of view, and desire to promote mutual understanding in a time of deep divisions.
